Meet Our Founder

Melissa Jeroboan is a visionary leader and the heart behind Covenant Crowned, a faith-rooted nonprofit where shelter is only the beginning. She stands for those too often left unseen—children without homes, families in crisis, veterans, and communities living on the margins. Here, hope is restored, value is reclaimed, and people are given the tools and guidance to rise from trauma and reclaim purpose.

For over a decade, Melissa has walked alongside families navigating the harsh realities of trauma, poverty, and broken systems. She knows that protecting a child means supporting the entire family, and that real change comes not from short-term fixes but from consistent care, guidance, and presence. She has seen firsthand how fragile hope can be and how transformative it is when someone chooses to show up, listen, and stand in the gap.

Her journey has taken her beyond borders. In Belize, she worked with survivors of domestic violence and their children, helping to establish safe housing, educational opportunities, and support systems that nurtured both healing and independence. That work revealed to her the universal nature of resilience, that all people, regardless of circumstance, need a space where they are seen, understood, and empowered to rise. Those lessons became the blueprint for Covenant Crowned, where programs are trauma-informed, culturally aware, and spiritually grounded, supporting families, children, veterans, and at-risk communities with value and respect.

Through Covenant Crowned, Melissa creates more than safe spaces; she builds environments where lives can transform. Children discover stability, families learn resilience, veterans find guidance and resources, and communities gain advocates who refuse to let anyone fall through the cracks. She has made it her mission to ensure that no child goes without shelter, no family goes without support, and no individual goes unseen or unheard.

Melissa believes in the power of presence. She knows that true impact is not measured in programs or statistics, but in the quiet moments: a child who finally sleeps without fear, a parent who feels supported, a veteran who regains purpose, a family reunited with hope. Every life she touches is an opportunity to restore not just safety, but faith in possibility.

In her own words:
"Every child, every family, every veteran, every person at risk deserves to be seen and lifted. Sometimes, it only takes one person willing to stand in the gap, and that one person can change everything."

Melissa’s life and work are a testament to the belief that healing is possible, that hope can be rebuilt, and that every person, no matter their past or circumstances, can rise, rooted in love and crowned in purpose. She is more than an advocate; she is a builder of refuge, a nurturer of hope, a visionary leader, and the heart behind Covenant Crowned.
